In his new position, Caldwell will report to Kaufman and Broad's Vice President and CIO, George Brenner. He will be responsible for IT strategic planning, computer services, telecommunications, and technical support among other duties.

Caldwell joins Kaufman and Broad from EDS (formerly MCI Systemhouse), where he most recently served as Managing Director on four major Y2K projects totaling $33 million in revenue. Prior to that he held a major IT executive positions with Universal Studios, Inc., and other IT management positions for Pricewaterhouse, LLP, Atari Corp., Dataproducts Corp., and Burroughs Corp.
Caldwell holds a M.B.A. and his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit.
