Florida may provide clues for improving Arizona eduction

Florida is coming to Arizona, as public education reform takes the spotlight at the monthly Taking Care of Your Business breakfast presented by the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, slated for Friday, Dec. 5, at 7 a.m. at the Best Western Inn Suites, 6201 North Oracle.

Chamber now accepting nominations for Man, Woman of Year

The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for Man and Woman of the Year and the Founders Award, an annual chamber-hosted community event to recognize local leaders for their personal sacrifices for the good of the community.

Chamber reflects on election results

Now that the smoke has cleared, the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce can assess our wins and losses. We congratulate the winners, regardless of our support of their candidacy. The Chamber has an obligation to our membership to champion business-related issues with all elected officials.

Chamber fights to save American Dream for 4,000 Tucson homebuyers

The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is seriously concerned about the new proposal that would nearly double new-construction impact fees in Pima County: Increased impact fees will affect homebuyers in ways this economy cannot afford.
