CHAIRity Event Raises Funds for Domestic Violence Victims >>
Eleven chairs, designed by Arizona State University Department of Interior Design students, will be on display and sold through an auction at the Nov. 19 event to be held at the Phoenix Art Museum.
Victims of domestic violence will receive counseling and client services from the proceeds raised at this ninth annual "Sit a Moment, Stop the Violence" event.

METRO is testing vehicles in Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa. At any time of the day or night, you may find yourself near an operating light rail vehicle or a METRO train.

The Public Works Department invites you to visit their online application where all you need to do is type in your address or choose your city council district number to determine the collection days in your neighborhood.
Adopt a Family for the Holidays >>
Looking for a way to share your holiday spirit? The city of Phoenix Human Services Department is sponsoring its annual Holiday Adopt-A-Family Program.
Sponsors are needed to provide toys, clothing and household items for participants in the department's social service programs.
