Elected in 2002, Mayor Hibbard is a graduate of the class of 2000 Leadership Pinellas and the class of 2007 Leadership Florida.  He is the Chairman of the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization, a member of the Mayor's Council of Pinellas County and a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida League of Mayors. Mayor Hibbard i son the board of TBARTA, Tampa Bay Regional Transportation Authority.
