September 5th 2008—Tonight's Game Three of the Governors' Cup Playoffs between the Durham Bulls and Louisville Bats has been postponed due to inclement weather. Game Three has been rescheduled for 7:05 PM on Saturday, Game 4 on Sunday at 5:05 PM, and Game 5 (if necessary) will be played on Monday at a time to be determined. Anyone holding a ticket for Game 3 may use it for the same seat on Monday (if necessary) or they may exchange their ticket for another seat at Saturday or Sunday's game. For questions, call 956-BULL.
September 4th 2008—(Louisville, KY) After shutting out the Bats the night before, Mitch Talbot had one of his toughest outings this year, as Durham headed home with the best of five Governors' Cup Playoff series even at one after a 19-3 loss.

The Labor Day crowds allowed Minor League Baseball to surpass the 43-million fan mark in a regular season for the first time in its 107-year history.
September 2nd 2008—On the final weekend of the regular season, the Durham Bulls handed out the annual Goodmon and Media "Good Guy" Awards prior to the games on Friday and Saturday Night. Bulls 1B Chris Richard proved to be an all-around Good Guy, taking two of the awards outright and splitting a third.
