Proposed County Floodplain Regulations
In order for Travis County property owners to purchase federally subsidized flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program, the County must adopt comprehensive floodplain management regulations. The Commissioners Court has scheduled a hearing on September 9, 2008 regarding the adoption of revisions to the County’s floodplain management regulations.

Commissioners Court Meetings
The Travis County Commissioners Court meets every Tuesday at 9:00 AM. in the Commissioners Courtroom at 314 West 11th Street, Austin, Texas. Meetings are cablecast live on TCTV Channel 17. Video archives of meeting items are also available on this website.
