The Wake County Public School system is closely monitoring weather forecasts as they relate to Hurricane Hanna. It appears likely that Wake County may experience rain and wind on Friday, but at this time we do not anticipate weather conditions affecting school schedules on Friday.

Free Seminar Shows Elementary Parents How to Help Their Children Improve At Math

Parents in Wake County can learn what they can do to help their elementary age children become strong math students, thanks to a special event scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11 from 7-9 p.m. in the Leesville Road High School auditorium. The event is free, but due to limited seating, online registration is required.
